Tragic News: ‘Gossip Girl’s’ Iconic Georgina Sparks Found Dead at Home at the Age of 39 due to complications from diabetes

The New York City Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed on April 16 (local time) in an interview with Page Six that actress Michelle Trachtenberg died due to complications from diabetes.
According to the New York Post, actress Michelle Trachtenberg was found dead at her luxury apartment in Central Park South, Manhattan, at 8 AM on February 26 (local time). Her mother discovered her unresponsive body, and emergency responders confirmed her passing. The 911 call reported a woman in cardiac arrest.

Police found no signs of foul play. Trachtenberg had undergone a liver transplant last year and was experiencing organ rejection symptoms. She had also appeared pale and frail in recent public appearances. Authorities suspect a natural cause of death but are awaiting the official autopsy report.

“We are deeply saddened to confirm that Michelle Trachtenberg has passed away. Her family wishes for privacy during this great loss,” said her representative, Gary Mantoosh.
